According to variety magazine , more than 30 employees say they received no written communication about the status of their working hours, and pay or inquiries about their mental and physical health for over a month. After the Ellen DegeneresDeGen  halted production in March due to COVID-19, Ellen returned on April 6 filming from the comfort of her home. 30 crew members were just told last week by top producers that they would receive a staggering 60% decrease in their wages. Ellen earns $87.5 million per year and has a net worth estimated at $490 million.
